Although I loved the white color, I wanted to decorate for Valentine’s Day. And to be honest, it needed some color – I always forget how dark and dreary it can be here in January! I haven’t had much time to decorate since I travel a lot, but I discovered some quick and inexpensive ways to decorate our home for Valentine’s Day.

Adding Valentine’s Day decor to your home doesn’t have to be complicated. Just follow these 7 easy ways to decorate for Valentine’s Day. It’s time to show some love!
Nothing says Valentine’s Day like a beautiful red and it doesn’t take much to make the red stand out from the white! I used some Love mugs, a felt LOVE banner and a red heart plate. These few items alone really turned the buffet into a wonderful Valentine’s Day vignette.
Using seasonal chocolates or other sweets is an inexpensive way to add a little color to your Valentine’s Day decor. Use packaged chocolates or place candies in covered glass containers. One of the great things about decorating with chocolate is that you don’t have to look at the end of the season. Just a warning that you may need to recharge often. ?

Easy Ways To Celebrate Valentine’s Day With Kids
I picked up some of these wooden love tags from Michaels and added them to the lighted trees in our dining room and the winter wreath in our entryway. At the dollar store or Target, you can often find small signs that you can easily add to decor items you already have. They are inexpensive, don’t take up much storage space, and don’t require changing your existing decor. Enough layer, layer, layer!
Some Valentine napkins add a touch of seasonality to your kitchen for under $10. They are convenient to use during the holidays and to store later.

We ordered the “Precious Dinner” which consists of two pancetta-wrapped sirloin steaks, chef’s salad, bacon-wrapped asparagus, two twice-baked potatoes, four mini gourmet cupcakes. . and a freshly baked baguette.
We got all this for only $25. All we had to do was cook the steaks and asparagus and put the potatoes in the oven. What a deal! I mean, seriously. Where else can you get a meal like this for only $25?
In addition to dinner for two, I was able to order flowers, Godiva chocolates, and even a bottle of wine to accompany our steak dinner. For dessert I also bought a Prosecco DOCG from Valdobbiadene.
