Elf On The Shelf Ideas For Arrival – It’s almost time, isn’t it? Elf on the Shelf! The arrival of the elves on December 1st can sometimes be as exciting for children as Christmas morning. Often, my kids forget about the upcoming holidays and their minds are only on chocolate advent calendars. My middle daughter, 4, is unlikely to forget last year’s Elf on the Shelf. He was only 3 years old then and his memories are still fuzzy. However, my 7 year old loved it from her reception. I previously wrote about how much I hated Elf on the Shelf, but I’ve changed my mind. I think it’s another stress for parents! It was one more thing to worry about in December, but when they gave me an elf, I calmed down. We gave it a shot that year and never looked back! It’s fun, the kids love it, and so do we!
